About Conan Kave

Conan Kave is a fansite for the massively multiplayer game Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures. The goal of this site is to provide the AoC community with useful tools to enchance the gameplay experience. Launched in May of 2008, our first tool is an interactive feat calculator which emulates the in game feat system.

Interactive Feat Calculator

The Interactive Feat Calculator allows players to create, compare and share any number of feat builds in an intuitive format without having to actually train them in game. By planning ahead a player will know what to expect as they level up and can spend their points according to plan without having to worry about whether or not they will accomplish their build.

Not only is this tool useful for individuals to plan their own characters, but it can be used to easily share that information with friends or guild mates. All a player has to do is create their build, then click the 'Save Link' button and copy the link that is generated. This link can be shared just like a URL to any website. For example it could be pasted into a forum post.

Instructions

• Left Click to add, Right Click to subtract a point from an ability
• Shift Click to add or subtract the maximum number of points
• Click the Reset button at the bottom of a tree to reset that tree
• Click the Reset All button to reset all trees
• To save a build click the 'Save Link' button, Left Click the box below to highlight then Right Click and copy the link

The AoC Feat System

• Players gain 1 feat point per level starting at level 10, plus an additional point at levels 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, and two additional points at 80 for a total of 79 feat points at max level.
• Each row or "Tier" of feats requires a number of points spent in the respective tree. Each tier also requires a minimum character level. (See Illustration)
• Each feat contains between 1 and 5 ranks
• A Feat with a lightning bolt pointing toward it requires the parent feat to be maxed out before it becomes available.
